Supporter Comms Manager (Voluntary)
We are looking for someone with good writing and communication skills, experience of supporter databases and a sense of curiosity about the world to manage our relationships with supporters and members – from writing our weekly emails to sending resources to our members.
Life Squared is a not-for-profit organisation that helps people to navigate the complexity of life so they can live in a happier, wiser and more meaningful way. We help people learn a range of critical life skills that we all need in order to live self-driven, civilised and fulfilled lives.
We do this by providing resources, courses and community events on a wide range of topics, including ‘the problem with consumerism’, ‘how to live ethically’, ‘how to find meaning in life’ and ‘how to think for yourself’.
Our members and supporters are central to our work, and we send them regular emails and other communications to help them navigate life. We want to build our membership base in the coming months, and offer people the very best membership package and supporter care we can. You’ll be managing our communications to these contacts, including writing our email newsletters and letters, managing our contacts database and even organising events.
We’re therefore looking with someone who is well organised, with great writing skills and ideally several years’ experience in a communications role.

We are based in Lewes near Brighton, but this role could be home based with occasional travel to Lewes. This is a part-time voluntary role of up to 3 days a week – and we’d be happy to discuss shorter hours and flexible working hours with candidates.
